About

Direct yet conceptual. Compelling and engaging, solutions through Design.

Olusegun Adebajo

'Olu' for short.

I obtained my Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design for corporate communication at the George Brown School of Design. After starting out with a digital marketing firm—Seocial, I went on to lead design at the largest daily paper in Canada, Toronto Star, where I worked as a Digital Designer on their new and innovative digital product, Star Touch.

I balance my day job with personal creative work, like illustration, magazines, branding, which garnered attention from a few small and medium businesses. Eventually, I got offers for freelance opportunities. This has led to the development of my technical skills in many design disciplines like User Experience and Product Design, as well as soft skills in multitasking, time-management and project-management.

My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find balance and achieve a Holisitic product vision. I’ve been assigned or am interested in. I do several iterations on each project and usually end up refining the one most research-sound and
requirement-concurrent solution.

For me, balance is about harmony. It’s a way to inspire satisfaction in your audience. It's about creating a positive experience and a lasting impression.
